The band was original formed by Dan Glaser , Branon Page on bass , and Chris Hanson on drums. They were known as Rank of Hands. They later changed their name to The Forsaken Few. Nick Gerhart joined the band as a vocalist/guitar player. Their music started to lean towards the harder but yet melodic music. Chris Hanson left the band siteing his desire to continue with his worship/contemporary style music band, Psalm 150.(who still plays together). Matt Juntunen joined to fill the shoes of Chris Hanson. Bringing with him his hard-core style of playing and intensity that makes FLD what it is today. Paul Flynn joined the band to take over the position of second guitar player and making Nick now a full time vocalist. Paul brought with him a style that changed FLD's music for the better. While being experienced in acoustical work and various other styles of music, he brought a new, harder element  to the table and helped take FLD's music to the next level. Dan playing a 7-string and Paul playing a 6-string produced an interesting mix of tones. Branon then left the band wanting to separate himself from the hard-music genre and continue his work with Psalm 150 as well. Matt Juntunen has sadly left the band to go to school at North Central and Dan has quit guitar and moved down to drums. We have now recently received a bass player by the name of Andrew Conway and he's a really awesome guy and brings the low end back into our music. Fallen Light Displaces plays hard music with a passion and we want to glorify God with our music...God be pleased
